Governs access to the HoodCar Market Data API and use of Derived Data returned by API endpoints.
These Terms supplement the HoodCar Terms of Service. By obtaining an API key or calling HoodCar API endpoints, you agree to these Terms.
Subject to payment and these Terms, HoodCar grants Customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the API and use Derived Data for internal tools and attributed embeds ( Developer, and Dealer tiers) or in commercial products under a commercial license (Business, Pro, and Enterprise tiers, as specified at purchase). White-label or redistribution use requires the Enterprise tier.
Derived Data means aggregate statistics, index levels, percentage changes, medians, averages, counts, and sold-comp summaries returned by the API. Derived Data does not include raw listing payloads, images, seller identifiers, or any data sufficient to reconstruct individual eBay listings.

Pro and Enterprise commercial users must display Market data © HoodCar or an equivalent link to hoodcar.com on any public-facing product using Derived Data.
HoodCar targets 99.5% monthly API uptime. Index values may be revised up to 7 days for methodology corrections; revisions will be logged in a public changelog. See API SLA for tier-specific commitments.
HoodCar may suspend API keys for abuse, redistribution violations, or non-payment. Upon termination, Customer must delete cached Derived Data within 30 days unless otherwise agreed in writing (Enterprise).
THE API AND ALL DERIVED DATA ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. HOODCAR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
HoodCar’s total liability shall not exceed fees paid by Customer in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. HoodCar shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or investment losses based on Derived Data.
Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Hoodcar Corp from claims arising from Customer misuse of Derived Data, including use in unregistered investment products or misleading consumer-facing claims.
